Modula Regional Sales Manager - Mountain West
JOB PURPOSE:
To facilitate, coordinate, schedule, and collaborate with assigned dealer network and conduct dealer activities as a representative of MODULA in a professional manner while interfacing regularly with the dealer principals, the dealer sales team and the customers. This position will be assigned a specific geographic territory.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Create goals to meet and/or exceed all sales targets and quotas established by MODULA
- Establish authorized dealer representation in an assigned area to appropriately cover the local markets
- Assign fair and balanced quotas for each dealer in coordination with the VP of Sales
- Design a continuous dealer improvement and development process for all respective dealers
- Maintain a competent working knowledge of all products, pricing and market applications
- Interface regularly with team members and work in collaboration to achieve team goals
- Build a team atmosphere with regards to inter territory sales
- Manage and execute assignments as guided by the mission and objective of the team
- Develop and implement a complete dealer communication plan for the respective territory
- Travel to dealer locations on a regular basis to conduct dealer sales and applications training as well as sales calls and project support
- Work as communication liaison between MODULA and the dealer network
- Support dealers in regard to any account concerns or issues (i.e. proposals, sales strategies, customer care or delivery concerns, etc.)
- Act as dealer advocate while having solid understanding of MODULA policies and procedures
- Manage the territory in an efficient and profitable manner
- Meet MODULA expectations, requirements, and policies
- Work with all company personnel in a professional, positive and constructive way
- Perform other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
- Bachelor's Degree in related field is required
- Greater than Five (5) years of experience in sales of material handling technologies preferred
- Must possess a broad understanding of the material handling business, to include: sales, design, implementation and ongoing customer support
- Ability to understand and relate to a dealer sales team
- Proficiency in computer programs including Excel, Word, Power Point
- Ability to communicate effectively
