Modula’s Automated Storage Systems Featured in Sun Journal

Modula is excited share that their company has been featured in Maine's Sun Journal this month. The article, written by staff writer Katheryn Skelton, focuses on Modula's warehouse and System Logistics' (Modula's parent company) $6 million investment to upgrade equipment and production capabilities. Four years ago, the Italian based company opened a U.S. facility in Lewiston, Maine to produce high-tech vertical lift storage systems and to re-engineer the warehouse carousels. The automated storage units made in the U.S. will now be delivered to customers more efficiently and economically.

The factory upgrades will go live this summer, and Modula's long-term goals are to make 700 to 750 units per year as well as to grow their staff of 43 employees and local workforce.
