Modula Sponsors the Edward Little High School Girls' Soccer Team
Modula is proud to announce its sponsorship of the Edward Little High School girls' soccer team for the 2017 season
Thanks to this contribution the Edward Little High School girls' soccer family was able to decrease the costs of yearly expenses such as tournament fees, team equipment, etc.
The Edward Little High School girls' soccer team is one of the largest and most competitive programs in the state of Maine.
In 2014, they claimed the Eastern Maine Championship title with a thrilling 3-2 overtime win against the Eagles of Mount Ararat High School in Topsham, Maine and the Class “A” State Runner’s-Up title, something that only a few programs can say they’ve been part of.
The Red Eddies have qualified for the Northern Class "A" playoffs the past six seasons, consistently displaying a competitive drive with good sportsmanship with the last two seasons ending at the hands of the eventual state champion in the Northern Maine Semi-Finals. Over the last four seasons, the Red Eddies have compiled a (39-19-10) record and several Maca Roddy Championships along the way.
Edward Little High School girls soccer looks to continue to build upon the success of the last several years in hopes of their first ever Class “A” State Championship.
The program participates in a summer soccer league that includes some of the most successful high school soccer programs in the state, including Scarborough High School, Yarmouth High School, and Gorham High School. The league consists of several games that are broken up every Monday and Wednesday night throughout late June and into July.
Finally, the program also competes in a highly competitive tournament at the end of July called the New England Challenge Cup. There are four pools of four teams of schools throughout Maine and Massachusetts. Winners of each pool advance to the knockout stage where an overall champion is eventually crowned.
Modula is also supporting sport and soccer teams abroad.
The company is an official sponsor of the Sassuolo Calcio, a professional Italian Serie A football club based in Sassuolo, in the province of Modena (Reggio Emilia - Italy). Modula has also signed an official sponsorship with the A.C Reggiana a football club also based in Emilia Romagna (Italy) where Modula has its Italian headquarter.
