Modula Joins MFG Day on October 2, 2015
Modula is in full expansion and its latest venture in North America is the opening of its state-of-the-art factory in Lewiston, Maine. From August 2015, Modula’s full line of vertical lift module products will be proudly made in USA with global technology and components.
The Modula plant in Lewiston is now equipped with highly automated manufacturing equipment, ranging from punch and presses, bending machines, 2D and 3D laser machines and robotic welding station.
We plan on inviting students from Maine Universities, students pursuing STEM subjects as well as others connected to business management, so that they can see how manufacturing has become clean, highly productive and ultimately makes for a great career opportunity.
This event is unique because it is hard to find this array of highly automated manufacturing machines under one roof. We provide safety goggles, and aside from that dress code is business casual. Educators from Engineering and Technology courses will find highly relevant hands-on examples of what they cover in class.
